Jika Anda mengalami kebingungan pada alat yang anda miliki dengan pesan error seperti diatas. Solusinya mungkin saja sama dengan apa yang pernah saya alami.
Kalau saya menamakan alat ini dengan bahasa saya sendiri yaitu: printer brother (baca: brader).... mantap kan....!!!!!
Printer brother ini sampai ke tangan saya dalam keadaan mati total (kata pemilik yang lama). Gak bisa nye-ken (scanner), gak bisa nge-fek (fasilitas fax), gak bisa nge-prin (printer) dan yang lebih parah lagi gak bisa di idupin.
Cari sana-sini dengan bantuan Goog** dan masuk ke forum-forum troubleshoot printer akhirnya dapet juga solusinya.
Tahap pertama adalah :
1. Cek apakah kondisi printer dalam keadaan siap untuk di test (bahasa gue di test bukan di service, karena gue bukan tukang service)
2. Siapkan semua alat yang nantinya akan membantu kita dalam mengetest printer ini.
kalau gue sih yang paling penting itu rokok 234 dan segelas kopi hitam agak pahityang masih panas. he...he....he.....he......
Sekarang saatnya kita mulai, Serius nih....:
1. Dalam keadaan kondisi printer masih non-aktif/mati (kabel power belum di pasang pada printer), tekan tombol "Power On/Off" kemudian pasang kabel power dengan posisi tombol masih dalam keadaan ditekan.
2. Tunggu hingga printer berhenti proses. Proses yang berjalan adalah : cleaning head, restart fax dan scan mode.
3. Setelah printer selesai proses, anda bisa melihat pesan yang tampil pada display.
Jika tampilan yang keluar adalah: xx:xx:xx Fax maka anda telah berhasil menghidupkan kembali printer brother mfc-210c anda yang mungkin mati suri untuk kembali bekerjasama dengan anda.
Selamat untuk yang telah berhasil......... dan coba lagi bagi yang tidak berhasil...

CMOS and BIOS password recovery tool
CmosPwd is a cmos/bios password recovery application.
CmosPwd works and compiles under Dos-Win9x, Windows NT/W2K/XP/2003, Linux, FreeBSD and NetBSD.
Typical Usage for DOS and all Windows users:
- Identify your BIOS manufacturer (usually displayed at boot-up).
- Start in DOS, or start a DOS session in Windows 95/98/ME. For Windows NT or Windows 2000 boot from a DOS or Windows 95/98 boot disk (you can find boot disks at www.AnswersThatWork.com) , and run CMOSPWD from your boot floppy (or another floppy).
- C: [Enter] cd CMOSPWD [Enter]
- Type CMOSPWD at the DOS prompt and press Enter.
- CMOSPWD will display a list of possibilities. Use the possibilities itemised against your BIOS manufacturer. Remember : a) For AWARD BIOSes, use the Numeric Keypad (with NumLock ON). b) AWARD 4.50PG BIOS always accepts "AWARD_SW", or "d8on", or "589589". c) Old Phoenix BIOSes will accept "phoenix".
- If the standard method does not work, then try to kill the CMOS password with CMOSPWD /K (and press Enter), and then see if you can get into the CMOS without a password. If you can, you successfully "killed" the old CMOS password. DO NOT KILL THE CMOS ON LAPTOPS!
On laptops, the password is usually stored in an eeprom on the motherboard,you need an eeprom programmer (electronic device) to retrieve it.
